We spent the night parked up in a very well appointed and very cheap car park. It felt more like a park than a car park!
This morning we went up the 70m church tower in Nordlingen. From the top it becomes very clear that the town is in the middle of a huge crater formed 15 million years ago when a meteorite hit the earth.
We were impressed by a lady overcoming her fear of heights up there and bemused by the warning not to climb on the parapet.
We celebrated our climb with ice cream and now we’re off again, having posted this from the hotspot bench we found yesterday.
